Prior to EQUITYMULTIPLE, Charles was a real estate attorney with Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, working for private equity clients on a variety of major CRE transactions, including several $1B+ acquisitions by Blackstone.

"In my final year at Simpson Thacher, I got my bonus and was ready to put it into real estate. When I started to really dig into my options, I was blown away by how difficult it was to find anything other than REITs or buying a property myself, both of which have real drawbacks. Here I was working on these huge deals but without real access to them myself."

Charles and Marious established a strategic partnership with Mission Capital - an established real estate capital markets advisory firm - to add further insititutional experience and to augment a nationwide network of sponsor and lender partners, contributing to quality investment flow. This partnership remains active today.

Marious Sjulsen has worked in private equity and real estate finance for nearly 20 years, building out several CRE investing platforms, and was determined to bring the benefits of the asset class to a broader investor set.

We started EquityMultiple to level the playing field for individual investors and help them build their own diversified portfolios of real estate in a way that fits into their broader financial goals."

Soren heads all growth strategy and communications efforts at EquityMultiple, and is responsible for presenting the value of the EquityMultiple platform accurately and honestly to customers and partners. EquityMultiple’s Growth and Investor Relations teams prioritize investor needs and objectives above all, and have cultivated triple-digit growth in investment volume each year since inception. Soren also oversees product and technology initiatives that seek to bring greater value and personalization to EquityMultiple clients.

Prior to joining EquityMultiple, Soren led major product marketing initiatives for Seattle-based tech startups and led teams that provided enterprise digital agency services to some of the nation’s largest retail brands.

Soren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Whitman College, as well as numerous professional certifications in marketing and technology disciplines.

Peter is responsible for the EQUITYMULTIPLE technology platform. He sets the strategic vision for the product, engineering, and IT operation teams, and ensures that they deliver a great user experience.

Previously, head of technology at Mission Capital, where he lead the full build out of an online loan auction platform which has transacted over $65 billion in business. Prior to Mission Capital, Peter was a founding partner at Think Tech Labs , a tech consulting firm and held financial services consulting positions at Accenture and Sungard.

Peter received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University.

Henry is the Senior Director of Asset Management at EQUITYMULTIPLE and is responsible for all asset and portfolio activities.

Henry joined EQUITYMULTIPLE from Clarion Partners where he was a portfolio management professional overseeing an institutional multifamily open-end fund. Prior to that, he worked at MMI Advisors, a boutique real estate advisory firm that he co-founded. Before MMI, he was a vice president of portfolio management at ING and Cerberus. Henry started his real estate career at Deutsche Bank.

Henry received his Bachelor and MBA in Portfolio Management and Information Systems from Pace University.
